Is missing a pickguard(didn't come with it when I purchased it) The neck definately needs a reset.

Could have been made by Harmony as all of those lower end players came out of the same shop. Kay Archtop Acoustic Guitar from the 50's. 2/32 at the 6th fret by capo 1st fret and holding down low e string at the 14th fret at the body. Seller added the following information: The neck has a little bow approx. SOLD AS IS! NO RETURNS! MAY YOU BE THE WINNING. 42' tall, 15 5/8' lower bout, 11 3/8' upper bout, it seem to be sound and tight, it tunes and plays and has a good sound to me, it has minor nicks and dings, the painted trim is worn in spots, this is a nice older guitar for you to enjoy. The body is flame type Sunburst, White painted trim, White plastic pick guard, Rosewood adjustable bridge, Trapeze tail piece, wood end peg, Black neck with music stand painted White with steel reinforced neck, 3 small white key buttons one side& 3 small cream color key buttons on the other side, Light Brown fretboard, 6 large Pearloid dots in the fretboard, White plastic nut with crack on b string, it has a Vintage Brown case that is rough, approx. The only number I find is N- 3 inside the guitar. This is a Vintage Archtop Acoustic Guitar. shipping is 30.00 usa overseas buyers pay actual shipping cost indiana buyers pay 7% sales tax sold as is. more i pluged a cord in the guitar and tapped on the gold foil pickup and got no sound, pickup may or may not be bad. neck is nice and straight with a very nice rosewood fretboard. headstock has very lighy seam seperation where it was glued just at the surface hardly noticible and not an issue. there is no crack in the block so a hole must have been pre drilled. one tuner slightlybent, the original bridge looks like it was lowered, the neck needs reset and has a long screw thru the strap button into the maple block. the pickguard has a crack repair which is not to noticible. guitar has a nice original finish, no cracks in the body. Lower bout is 15 1/2 inches, upper bout is 11 1/4 inches, 25 1/2 inch scale. this was an estate purchase and is a nice project.
